Julie Pugh is a Dorset based artist who's passion for art was rekindled following an injury requiring surgery and long term rehabilitation keeping her temporarily grounded from her job as airline cabin crew.

Her primary passion for animals led her down the UK animal rescue route where she has been lucky enough to adopt dogs with the most amazing personalities and charisma.

Julie currently supports the rescue of street dogs from around the world, having adopted 2 older street dogs from the harsh conditions of Romania in order to give them a quality end of life. Julie will donate 20% from every portrait commissioned to the SOS Romanian Rescue South West (www.romrescue.org) and other animal charities.

Julie is a perceptive and natural artist and her creative ability flows when capturing the spirit, character and charm of your dog, always focusing on the eyes, first and last, to create a lasting and powerful memory of your favourite pet.
